Oil Skimmers

Oil skimmer systems – separation of hydraulic oils or foreign bodies in general from emulsions or washing-cooling water.

The R and COAL Series of OIL SKIMMERS are divided into additional subcategories as required:

  • RN = OIL SKIMMERS WITH BELT with three-phase engines and three types of plastic belts, plus varying retrieval depths.
    • RN100 – belt width 100 mm, retrieval from 150 to 1,500 mm
    • RN250 – belt width 250 mm, retrieval from 400 to 2,500 mm
    • RN500*– belt width 500 mm, retrieval from 500 to 4,000 mm
  • RO = OIL SKIMMERS WITH DISK with three-phase engines and three different STAINLESS steel disk diameters, for shallow tanks and high liquid level.
    • RO350 with disk diameter 350 mm, retrieval depth about 150 mm
    • RO500 with disk diameter 500 mm, retrieval depth about 200 mm
    • RO1000 with disk diameter 1000 mm, retrieval depth about 400 mm
  • RT* = OIL SKIMMERS WITH TUBE with three-phase engines and floating tube of varying lengths.
  • COAL* = COALESCING OIL SKIMMER systems consisting of an overflow component to insert in the tank, a pneumatic suction pump and an external separation element for separating the waste oil from machine processing liquid.

Description

Periodic filtering and oil skimming operations increase the life cycle. The film of waste oil prevents correct oxygenation of the emulsion and leads to the proliferation of fungi and bacteria which deteriorate it further. Moreover, if waste oil is recycled it burns when it comes into contact with tools and releases foul-smelling and toxic fumes.

FEATURES

Oil skimmers are made of sturdy welded and painted iron structures (available entirely in STAINLESS steel on request); RN – RO and RT are fitted with three-phase gear units, on request, with specific voltages and standards.
